General Minecraft Rules

Please check this thread periodically for updates and additions to this list.

Tyrant's Kingdom is shortened to Tyrant

Bans

No Hacking
Hacking in all forms is punishable. Any client that is capable of hacking is not allowed and will result in a ban for malicious hacks. Admitting to having a client, and admitting to hacking will also be treated as malicious hacks. Admitting to breaking the rules will result in appropriate punishment. Knowingly working with a hacker to gain resources, get an upperhand in PVP, etc. will result in a ban equal to the initial hackers ban. DDos threats will result in a permanent ban.

Malicious Hacks: Any hack that gives the player a physical advantage in PVP and PVE
Ex: KillAura, NoSlowDown, Flight, B-Hop, Reach, Speed, Flight, AntiKB, Criticals, etc.

Non-Malicious Hacks: Gives smaller advantages, but still not allowed.
Ex: AntiAFK, Derp, Headless, Freecam, Fast Eat, Auto Soup, etc.

Note: Any clicking method such as butterfly clicking, jitter clicking, and others similar to them may result in a ban. These clicking methods are not advised.

No Faking Hacks
Admitting, faking, or saying you are hacking in any way will result in a ban for malicious hacks.

No Bug Abuse
Using a bug or exploit in minecraft or plugin will result in a ban. If you find a bug and don't report it, it's considered bug abuse. Duplication glitches will result in a permanent ban. Bug abuse is split into Minor and major bug abuse. pearling through blocks or doors, etc.

No Unapproved mods or clients
List of approved mods coming soon.

No Inappropriate skins, names, items, or builds
Skins can't be inappropriate (nudity, swastikas, etc). Anything you can't say in chat is not allowed as a name, named item, pet name, etc.
phallic or disrespectful images will be removed. Lag machines are counted under this rule.

No IRL Trading
Trading includes any exchange of real-life currency for in-game items is not allowed

No Ban or Mute Evading/Bypassing
All Evading will result in double the original ban/mute. Evading a hacking punishment will result in a permanent ban. Bypassing a mute using signs, pet names, books, etc is not allowed and will result in a ban.

No Harassment/Aggression
Aggression is defined as "hostile or violent behavior or attitudes toward another"

No Alt Abuse
Each IP address is allowed 5 accounts on it. It can be one main and four alts, or one main, a sibling, and three alts, etc. Going over 5 accounts on your IP results in an IP Ban. You must keep track of which accounts are on your IP. Staff members may tell you the number of accounts on your IP, but not their names. This doesn't mean you can have 5 accounts on at one time and then a different 5 another time, once you've logged in with 5 accounts they're the only ones you can connect with.

No Noise Pollution
Noise pollution is the intentional creation of large amounts of sounds for the purpose of annoying players (anvils in spawn, opening and closing doors near peoples claims, etc).

No Faking Evidence
When reporting someone, faking the evidence by photoshopping or other means is not allowed. If you are obviously trying to get the person pushed based on fake evidence, a ban can be placed on you by an admin at their discretion.

Ban timelines stack with one another. If you are banned for malicious hacks, then are banned again at a later date, the new ban would be the second offence for the appropriate category. All bans count as an offence, regardless of category. Bans do not stack with mutes, and mutes do not stack with bans. Bans and mutes stack across accounts. Meaning, if a mute expires on one account, and you commit an offence on a new account, that new account will be muted for second offence.

Mutes

No Chat spam
3+ identical or very similar messages in a short period of time.
Ex: 'Someone tp to me!'   'Can Someone tp to me!'   'Please Someone tp to me!' etc.
5+ identical or very similar messages over a longer period of time.
4+ words with capital letters.
Ex: 'Why Is No One At Spawn?' etc.
10+ capital letters in a row.
Ex: 'HEY GUYS! THIS IS A COOL SERVER!'   'WHEN does THE server RESTART?' etc.
10+ of the same character, or just gibberish, or similar.
Ex: 'oooooooooooooooooo'  'dhjgfhvghshfsdhv'   'ohohohohhohhohoo' etc.

More commonly known as "fonts", Hacked Client Spam Is a ban for malicious hacks, Not spam.

No Advertising
Advertisements are split into 2 categories. Light Advertising and Advertising. Advertising punishments are a case by case basis.

Light Advertising: Includes YouTube, Discord, etc. You will normally receive a warning before a mute, unless excessive.

Advertising: Advertising in any way not listed in light advertising.
Ex: Minecraft servers, untrustworthy links, ip addresses, names of competitors, etc.

No Hackusating
Any report of hacking should be reported in the forums or told to a staff member. Saying someone is hacking in public chat is not allowed.

No Swearing
Don't bypass the chat filter and don't use words other people might consider a swear or inappropriate.
Generally swearing will result in a warning, and if continues a mute.

No Being Disrespectful
Respect staff and other players. A little salt here and there generally is ok, but keep it limited. All derogatory language, racism, or excessive direct insult of a player is not allowed. Disrespect does not require a warning before a mute.

No Pestering Staff
Don't be a pain. Staff members are here to help, but spamming them about an issue wont get it fixed faster. Constant pestering will result in a mute for spam.

Mute timelines stack with one another. If you are muted for inappropriate language, then are muted again at a later date, the new mute would be the second offence for the appropriate category. All mutes count as an offence, regardless of category. Mutes do not stack with bans, and bans do not stack with mutes. Bans and mutes stack across accounts. Meaning, if a mute expires on one account, and you commit an offence on a new account, that new account along with the previous account will be muted for second offence.
